We have been coming here for awhile and when we're in San Clemente- this place is our staple! The food is always great but today was my first time trying something other than their breakfast. The club sandwich was delicious and so were the breakfast tacos! I have gotten all types of their breakfast in the past and it always delivers! The staff is super friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. Antoine's has a small indoor area with tables and a small outdoor patio, and when the weather is nice we always opt for the patio. If you haven't been here, give Antoine's a try because I'm sure you'll love it!

I love everything I have ever ordered from Antoine's. Today, I ordered a spicy chicken salad and it was heavenly! Plus, I had enough left over for another meal or two.

Outstanding fun service. Everybody is having fun here and great vibe. My hubby and I came and had the French dip/fries and French crepe. Both were good. Love to support the smaller business owner in San Clemente. Give it a try.

We found a brunch spot for New Year's Day in San Clemente, and it was the only place open. My husband and I were so relieved because we were starving and ready for a good meal. When we arrived, there was already a line, and we were about the 8th group waiting, but the line moved quickly. The staff, including the waiters, waitresses, and hostesses, were working hard to accommodate everyone. After about a 30-minute wait, we got seated. We ordered fresh-squeezed orange juice, pastrami sandwiches, and chicken-fried steak, which came with a choice of pancakes or toast. I chose pancakes, and our waiter, Vincent, offered to decorate them with walnuts, bananas, or strawberries for $1.50 per topping. We appreciated Vincent's friendly service and attention to detail--he made sure all our requests were met and added to the experience with his enthusiasm, making our first meal of the year feel special. The chicken-fried steak was tasty, but the gravy was cold, which was a bit disappointing as it would have been better served warm. My husband thought the pastrami sandwich was just average and felt it could have used a couple more slices of pastrami. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is dog-friendly, complete with water bowls for pets. Outdoor ambiance with nice weather. Overall, it was a nice spot to start the New Year, despite a couple of minor issues with the food.

We decided to stop by on our way from SD to LA for brunch. This places is small with outside seating. The service was great from all staff, but our server Vincent is in a league of his own. He enjoys his job and helping people. He goes out of his way to make sure we get what we want even when there's a problem with the order. Our food came out slower than usual, but we ordered the chicken fried steak (great) but could use more gravy. Pancakes were loaded with strawberries and blueberries inside AND on top! (Thanks to Vincent). The special on the pastrami sandwich wasn't anything special and could use more meat which came with thin French fries. For the price, I expected more layers of pastrami instead of 2 or 3 layers that I could make at home. Hard pass on the pastrami and get it elsewhere. But overall, great service for New Years Day.

Came with my husband and daughter this morning for the first time, what a great little spot! I ordered the omelette with spinach, avocado and cheese with potatoes, sooo good! My daughter and husband also ordered omelette and were completely satisfied as well. Coffee was good, so was the Cafe Au lait, but in that case it could have been hotter and stronger. I also wasn't fond of the cup, I prefer to have a handle on my cup, it's much easier to hold but that's me. Service was excellent and the servers were very nice . Love this place!

The golf buddies and I were done with golf, but done earlier than our normal after a round hang out (Daily's Sports Grill) was open, as it was only 11:15am. So, one of the golf buddies suggested Antoine's Cafe. I was not 100% behind the choice, as I know they are good for breakfasts, but I had not had lunch there so I was skeptical. Off we went to try out their lunch. Since we were there pretty early for lunch, we had our choice of seating and chose to sit outside as it was a nice day. Interesting thing about the outside seating is that Antoine's is on El Camino Real which can be pretty busy and noisy. Well, there we were and it was fine. After reviewing the menu, I chose the chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken sandwich is grilled spicy chicken breast, lettuce, tomato & mayo on a baguette. The food came out quickly and it all looked good. A golf buddy and I both ordered a side of jalapenos to throw on our sandwiches. The jalapenos came out and they were grilled. A nice touch and they were delicious on the sandwich. Since then, I have grilled pickeled jalapenos for tacos, sandwiches and a side for other meals. It is a great way to serve them. The chicken sandwich was very, very good and after eating all of the great fries, I only ate 1/2 the sandwich, packing the other half up for lunch the next day. My skepticism was gone and I would go back and have the same thing again. Go. Eat Well. HAVE FUN!!
